Audley End House & Gardens
This stunning English Heritage Jacobean House was created and built by the Earl of Suffolk to entertain King James. Audley End is now one of Englands most magnificent stately homes. Recently open to the public, you can now explore the grounds and house. Recently the private domain of the eight children of Lord Braybrooke has been opened to the public, which is well worth a look.
A great day out for the whole family, Audley End has excellent facilities including restaraunt and museum.

Belhus Woods Country Park
Welcome to Belhus Woods, a place where you can fish, relax, have picnics, cycle, ride your horse and wander through the picturesque bluebells.
Its a good idea to call ahead to the park as there are plenty of year round events for you to take part in, including, Wildflower walks, night time bat walks and even charcoal making.
The woods are just off the M25 so very easy to find.
